Hi, I am Diego Tomé and I am a Ph.D. student in the Database Architectures group at CWI-NL. My research interests include data compression, co-processing with GPUs and the usage of emerging hardware to accelerate queries. The Database Architectures group from CWI is well known as a top data systems research group, active in the broad area of data (management) systems and infrastructure for supporting data science. My role in the group is to develop high-level research on database systems with a focus on its architecture.
